School
It starts back up at 7 am tomorrow (7:30 technically but I get there early). I have a hair appointment so I’ll be there until lunch when I leave for the rest of the school day.
I have a new math teacher who I don’t know but I heard rumors about the name. Hopefully, they’re nice.
I haven’t chosen the pattern for my final project in fashion. I might just make a hoodie or some sort of pajamas. I still haven’t finished my apron, since I got caught up trying to pin the apron so it bunches. The hoodie requires a zipper which shouldn’t be hard to sew on.
I’m going to miss my art club meeting. We need a video game club. Possibly and anime club, there aren’t too many weebs here, hot topic fanatics, but not really weebs.
School rant. Only a few more weeks until next semester. Then no PE, and art instead during that block.
Unpopular Opinion #3
I find the hyper fangirls annoying, but not the show itself. The art is the unique style of Jhonen Vasquez, and pertains to all of his work. Invader Zim’s character behavior was that of many of today’s cartoon characters: mindless and hyper. The show did have an advanced alien race that had more of a past then that revealed in run. Most shows that dominate the market now don’t have much backround information.I think Invader Zim is hopelessly overrated. I don’t think it’s funny, it’s obnoxious with how hyperactive the characters are played. The style has always bugged me, with the square mouths and such. Everything about it screams “LOOK HOW EDGY THIS IS” and it attracts the type of middle school kids that lurk around Hot Topic and quote Gir at any given opportunity. In that same shrill tone.
Does anybody else find this extremely annoying?
